Mt. Pleasant Abstract and Title opened its doors in 1981. Since then we have grown to 25+ offices throughout Michigan. Local is important to us – we like knowing and being a contributing part of the communities we call home.

Title Insurance
Title insurance protects against loss or damage against any future claims people may have against your ownership of the property. The good news is Michigan is a leader in year-over-year decrease in defect frequency with a 26.5% decrease.
Escrow Services
Escrow is a financial arrangement in which two parties enlist a “third party” (who is neither the buyer nor the seller) to temporarily hold money, paperwork, or other assets for a transaction on their behalf before the transaction has been finalized.
Policy Options
With the average premium for an Expanded Policy at only 10% more, the tremendous amount of additional coverage is well worth it! If the Seller doesn't want expanded coverage, we highly recommend you pay the minimal difference for maximum coverage on your investment.
